Kandy Donut Classic Large Jade Pendant- Green
Product Details
The Kandy Donut Large Green Jade Pendant is defined by its fuller scale, softly rounded profile and strong sculptural presence. Offered in two natural Burmese jadeite colour options, Pale Green and Green, the larger donut form gives the jade greater visual impact while allowing its colour, translucency and natural variation to remain the focus. Finished with a solid 18K gold bail, the pendant is available in 18K yellow gold or 18K white gold for two distinct expressions of the same design.
Part of the Kandy Collection, this pendant offers a fresh take on classic jade jewellery. The collection brings together petite jade donuts and discs in natural, untreated Burmese jadeite, finished with solid 18K gold for a refined, contemporary look.
A Larger Donut Silhouette
The Large Donut is designed with broader proportions and a more pronounced circular form, giving the pendant a bolder presence than the smaller Kandy Donut styles. Its rounded profile enhances the sculptural quality of the jade while preserving the clean simplicity of the traditional donut shape.
Two Natural Jade Colours
-
Pale Green: Soft and refined, with a lighter green tone that gives the larger silhouette a calm, polished appearance.
-
Green: Richer and more vibrant, with stronger green colour that gives the pendant a brighter, more striking presence.
Because each pendant is shaped from natural jadeite, the tone, translucency, texture and distribution of colour will vary from piece to piece.
The Enduring Symbolism of Jade
The jade donut’s continuous circular form symbolises harmony, wholeness and balance. Traditionally associated with protection and auspiciousness, its simple shape carries meaning that has endured across generations.
Individually Shaped from Natural Jade
Each Kandy Donut is individually shaped and polished from natural jadeite, giving every pendant its own character. Because no two pieces of jade are identical, variations in colour, translucency, texture, pattern and natural inclusions are inherent to each piece.
The thickness, proportions and overall appearance may also vary subtly from pendant to pendant, reflecting the individual nature of natural Burmese jadeite and the craftsmanship of each finished piece.
Finishing Touches
Each pendant is accompanied by a complimentary silver chain, with solid 18K gold chains available separately.
